A bank does four things.
Crypto has solved one.

Custody, trading, payments, and the social fabric that ties them together. Excane builds the missing pieces as software people hold themselves — starting with the hardest one, where losing a key means losing everything.

The thesis

Self-custody is the right idea with the wrong ergonomics.

Every wallet in use today shares one flaw: whoever holds the recovery phrase owns the money. No delay, no second factor, no recourse.

That single design decision sits behind most of what has been lost to theft, phishing and coercion — and it is why serious money still sleeps on exchanges.

We think the fix is policy enforced on-chain rather than warnings shown in an app. A vault that needs more than one secret before it moves. Limits that hold even when an attacker has your phone and your phrase. Contacts who hear from you automatically when something goes wrong.

Everything we build starts there and extends outward — to trading venues that stop rewarding rug pulls, and to a social layer where your account is a wallet instead of an email address.

Raising

Pre-seed, open now.

We are raising to fund a full third-party security audit and the mainnet launch of PENGY. If you invest in security-first crypto infrastructure, we would like to talk.
